I went to see Hide and Seek last night and one of my friends told me this morning that there is actually two different endings which have been filmed for it and the cinemas swap them about.

Anyone else seen the film and heard that?

The version I saw the young girl was living with the lady doctor. The doctor called her to get ready to leave for school and the film closed with the scary looking girl drawing a scary picture of herself with two heads.

The other ending I heard about the wee girl ended up in a mental institution.

I've googled it and the only info I could find suggesting it has two endings are on forums. This suggests to me that it is an urban myth. I'm going to report this to snopes to see if they can come up with anything.

In a letter sent out today, word has come that in Australia at least (and quite possibly in several international territories) that 50% of cinemas will receive the original ending of the film (involving a drawing) while the other 50% will receive an alternate ending (involving an institution).

I'm not saying I don't believe it, just that it sounds unbelievable. I've googled and not managed to find any news articles or film reviews that mention anything about the film having 2 endings, all I've found are things posted on forums.

Sounds like a good idea to work with the weather. I'd love to go to work in the morning and not have to scrape/deice my car. Its wee things like that which annoy me. Also when people greet you with 'How are you doing' and then walk on. If they ask the question at least wait to hear the answer!!! Don't ask if you aren't interested!

This year there had only been about 5 days or less when the car has needed deicing - normally in Jan/Feb you'd need to deice it everyday.
