Was the +3 the one that had the disk drive? Was it any good?

It had a 3 inch disk drive (not a 3 and a half) and was great - same power as the +2 and 128K+ but games loaded in seconds.....

Got to register, :(

No you don't. Only to watch/download the big screen version. If you click on the link that says "see it in action" it will just stream it.

Sidla > Probably best you keep them. Don't sell them! Besides they won't fetch much on ebay. There's way too many Spectrum type computers on there. :)

As I said, I don't wanna part with it. It will fetch a fortune in a few years.

Do you mean 48K? There is no such thing as a 56K Speccy as far as I'm aware.

I had that on my old BBC computer. I loved it. Sometimes the simplest games are the best :)

GT 4 update, I have just completed my first Sub 9 minute lap of the 14 Mile Nurburgring Nordschlife track in a Skyline... that's in A spec mode,

Gonna run B spec mode round it and see what it gets... probably way up on me coz I think I may have been too conservative with braking at parts,

whats the point in these retro plug and play things. im all for nostalgia but the majority of 10 year old games are crap.
plug and play must be a fad, i see them shopping channels trying to flog 100 games in 1 arcade crap with free light gun. maybe a afternoons fun but surely theres no longevity.
just get your old super nintendo out of the attic buy a dreamcast on ebay for a tenner and youll get more value for money.

Wht happened to the Dreamcast?

zelda ocarina of time is probably on of the best games ever made.

my dreamcast is still in working order with the steering wheel for MSR and all my top games like virtua tennis, virtua striker (version 2000.1), 18 wheeler, shenmue 1 & 2 (this is last dart!) etc

i still got all my old consoles but the reason i got zelda on gamecube is because my n64 broke and the gamecube only cost me £50 so i thought why not.

metropolis street racer was an excellent game on dreamcast, cost me 40 quid though at the time. I also liked playing Virtua Tennis 2 and Ready to Rumble. I got Sonic with it but i couldnt get into it, it was too pre determined really. Tried to play Tomb Raider, got stuck and bored.
