I know someone who did that when I was at school. Needless to say he was an annoying tosspot (despite the description it wasn't me)

Ages ago, whilst in a chatroom, we all decided to actually do this for real, to see the reactions we got from other people in the house/at work, You should try it, Laughing Out Loud, quite randomly isn't quite as bad as Rolling On Floor Laughing, don't think anyone actually tried PMSL!!!

You have a PC, use it to do bits and pieces and show you can actually use a computer. I'm in the IT department at work and my CV basically said bits about what I do in my spare time, which in my case is the table tennis league web site - but with computers it's easy to get experience, even if it's not commercial.

I have plenty of experience though, just not in a workplace. It's references they need.

Do you know someone who is quite high up in a company or has a respectable job who would be able to write you a reference? How about uni people?

Frontpage is okay if you just want quick results, but for more complicated stuff its a bit crap. I make stuff like tables quickly with FP and thats about it, then I go tinker with the HTML meself...

Front Page is crap, it adds sh*tloads of unnecessary code. The best thing you can do is download a proper text editor like PSPad ( http://www.pspad.com ) and code it yourself. Or if you need a more dynamically, code it in Perl (still with PSPad.)

Dammit why are people being so picky on everything I say lately? I got enough people on my back for little or no reason off the board, I don't need it here too. I know I've overreacted at times but it's no wonder that thats happened when people are on my back 24/7 [/rant]

I also need to learn stuff like using Flash and Photoshop to full effect, I don't claim to be professional by any means, I am still learning all this stuff. So yes, the tinkering isn't much.
