So what are peoples favourite death scenes in movies?

I'm going with Samuel L Jackson in Deep Blue Sea when he makes that long speech, and the shark pops up and eats him...

The last minute of Bonnie and Clyde always gets me- heart wrenching.
Also Abigails Party, and The Big Lebowski, two very funny films with quite sober passings.

I've got another one - the bloke getting covered in toxic waste in Robocop and then getting hit by the car - I could watch that scene for ever...

platoon- the bit when he gets shot from behind (famous picture)
full metal jacket- when the fat guy shoots himself (very morbid/sad point)
seven- when brad pitt shoots the murderer (cant remember if its kevin spacey or john malkovic, but its a very justified killing)

Can't remember what this was on, either some old film or Baywatch, but this bloke went swimming in the sea and got ran over by a big ocean liner. So sad....

maybe it was a premenition of what will happen to the entire cast of that crappy programme called 'cruise' or something along those lines [you know the one, it was the at sea version of 'airport']

Oh, the agents can look like whoever the hell they want to look like, so makes sense for the "main agent" character to return in the sequels. One pic I've seen of Reloaded shows two or three Smiths in the same shot. - jc

in nightmare on elm street when that girl gets dragged along the ceiling and walls of the bedroom and she starts bleeding in random places when freddy gets her with his knives/nails. ooh and at the end of nightmare on elm street when that person gets pulled into the bed and a skeleton comes up in it's place.

When the bloke dies in the sixth day (the main evil guy) - I just ove the comedy look he gives the camera as he realises the glass he's standing on is about to collapse - it's a proper Wile E Coyote moment...

I laughed when Jim died in Neighbours - so funny! Then he pops up in the Lone Gunmen as a Stazi agent (?).

Or when Rambo's bird gets it in Rambo, and he says "You OK?" even though she's obviously dead.

But the best death scene is the exploding head bit in "Scanners". Awsome. 8)

Cool, I can't wait for this movie, The trailer makes the sequel look so promising. I laughed so much when I saw the actor who plays Agent Smith in drag in Priscilla Queen of The Desert!
