 Unt this is why people go. Once mention of sour grapes and people talking of Kiwi skins and raw jelly?(sorry i've never had jelly cooked so i wouldn't know what tastes better) Bob, Roddy and Nablo Diablo try and have a serious debate and people get silly. Most of this is due to a small minority (including me on occasions) who just post not to express thier opinion but to just add silly bits on the end of posts. <br>  If we talked about e-mails sent to Chris we would be struggling to hit 50 posts but that thread was used purely for people bucking up thier post numbers. Don't  get me wrong i'm not a miserable bastard but sometimes i start a serious thread and it gets silly by people talking about utter shite and this site does have a chatroom. <br>  I'm not pointing the finger at any one in particular and i wont name any names(Cough Ionic Storm Cough Poppy) <br>  This isn't a nasty message so don't getn the hump<br>  You may now talk about Peanuts

for once im sorta disagreeing with everlast. Look at every post, they meander into weird and strange topics, like a chat down the pub. On the one hand they can be funny and then on the other can be very unfunny.  it just depends either what mood you are in or what your opinions are on that subject. and the other and one that doesnt apply to me, how much alcohol you have drunk.

I dont mind the Stevotrash, J-Ho and Gaspode approach to posts which is add a little funnybit to the post, its just the way a thread like 'E-Mails sent to Chris' went way out of proportion, it was an exellent thread but it did go a bit silly.<br><br><br>I'm not a miserable bastard

This isn't really turning that much into an argument it's more you lot who think because we don't agree with something and want to point our view we make it an argument. No one is doing that we are all just sharing our views.

Firstly, Everlast don't ever mention my name in the same sentence as Jonny Hoare.<br><br>Secondly, I practise the wierd demented approach to posting as my attempts to construct potentially brilliant interactive topics was ignored by people on this board. Therefore the eratic style shall remain.<br><br>Something which gets on my t*ts is when people refer to supposed 'golden ages' on this board. Even during the time when Murphy and Spanner were regulars, some people still gloated on past nostalgia.<br><br>Things change, evolution is inevitable. Altough i would like to see the likes of Tom Murphy posting now and again, there are some new members which have filled the creative gaps so to speak.<br><br>

All I was asking was where had some of the people gone, how are they doing these day, What there up to now. <br><br>I know things change thats what life is all about, so I'm just saying where old people we once new were. I have to agree with the Trash on some accounts, and veremently disagree with him on others.<br><br>1. Whilst we must move forward it is imprative for the board to look at the past and to see how funny it truly was. The quality of debate and comedy is quite frankly poor. At least stickyspanner would slate a bad joke or start an argument<br>2. But the future we could do no harm in reading previous posts to see the "golden age" of MW<br>3. It's a much busier board now and aany fleeting appearances can be lost, if you're coming back the you have to at full pelt....

According to Martin (Ionic Storm) both he and Stickyspanner left because of an "overheard conversation" that he won't tell me about because "it will upset you".  So I dunno, but he says neither will come back, and I don't suppose that will upset many people.
