Comment if i'm being a little harsh on the little bomb shell, but my mortification over the impending end of the world via that meteor has been slightly reduced by the fact that Emma B's two week drivetime stint is finally over.
Now the lass is probably a nice gal who'd be a great participant in a rowdy night out but a word of advice, tales of breast flashing and groping do not translate all to well onto radio. You need a bit more than lewd stories to be truely entertaining.
The concept of Headliners is good, handing the control of the show over to the regular audience. However, if anyone of you pesky kids were force fed crispy pancakes for a fortnight you'd be slightly fed up and perhaps slightly suicidal. It would have been far more entertaining if headlines from the paper were selected and listeners had to create the stories which centered on it.
Finally a quick word on the Moyles man, since beginning a new and very boring job (which i was nearly fired from on friday involving a drinking session during my dinner break) I have realised why the Chris Moyles show is so popular. Away from the critical ear of a homely enviornment and into a dull boring work atmosphere, the fun irrelevance of the show brings a huge amount of entertainment to the day.
Finally on a totally different topic, If you havn't heard the brilliant 'Down Count' segment on the mark and Lard show I would strongly suggest you try listening to it during the coming week.
