Poland is a bit far away for this trip.

We'll have to check out Dudek country and the Polish women on the next trip.

your going at the wrong time of year for most of those places like switzerland, france, germany, austria and italy you could have done some great snowboarding or skiing. i just bought a train ticket thing you can use all round europe for the whole of may next year so i will have to stay like 1 or 2 days in each place then go somewhere else

I went skiing in Switzerland last year and went to that revolving restaurant that was used in one of the James Bond film.

We're doing this trip in September

What are you aiming to do - ish? Is it a lads holiday or do you want to experience culture and scenery etc?

We’ll be doing a bit of everything so I guess that will include being all touristy as well.

3 lads are going and we are trying to recruit 2 girls to come along too.

Well Amsterdamn might be a good start ;). Rome is supposed to be gorgeous as is Florence. The Menin Gate in Ypres is UNFORGETABLE - I would really advise going to the daily remembrance service, even if you're only there for an afternoon. And um, I don't know much about the others, but if in doubt, visit the capitals ;).

is it an unlimited ticket, or do you have a certain number of trips within the whole month.

i'd recommend going to hamburg or some of the little towns withing the harz mountains. i really miss it this time of year.
