Took me an hour and a half to get home tonight. I'm gonna send Chris Martin a bill for the extra petrol.

I don't get the connection? Are Coldplay doing a gig in Bolton or something?

On a similar note, it was a nightmare getting into Manchester for the Oasis gig last week. And don't get me started on Stoke.

I'm going tomorrow.. just to rub it in.

Did you go to the Oasis gig on Saturday Sidders, or Thursday?

Saturday was interesting. The barrier broke at the front of the crowd about a minute into the first song, so they had to stop and wait about half an hour before they could start again.

Best quote was from Noel - “Make sure you help up anyone who falls over, but if anybody does get injured.. make sure they buy a f*cking t-shirt on the way out.”

I went Thursday.

I didn't promise anything Gaspode, I just said I had a ticket going spare, however the person the ticket was intended for decided to go in the end. I doubt you would have gone anyway, because you would have had to sit next to me and I would be able to tell everyone what you're like in person. Also, you'd probably take up two seats, one for each buttock.

Sitting at gigs is crap anyway.

Yeah, the standing tickets had sold out. It was still enjoyable though.

Im going to see Oasis in Newcastle next Tuesday. I am a bit worried about the ammount of people commenting on piss being chucked about in pint glasses at the gig though...

Expect to be drenched at some point. I was right at the front and you do get soaked. A nice combination of alcohol and piss.

I'm going to see them in Milton Keynes on Sunday and I expect it will be worse there, but I dunno about Newcastle cos I presume that is an indoor gig?

Realised REM still had a few dates left in nottingham etc, looked for tickets, £45 each! plus a bloody service charge of £9 so was looking at £101 for two tickets.
Looked on ebay - £70 for a pair plus free delivery. Top quality!!

Going to be amazing

Why exactly? At Green Day everyone was pretty well behaved...

I believe I owe an apology, the fantastic support that I thought there would be is not in fact going to be there. Sorry. What day you going? I've just sorted out Oasis tickets for Sunday.

I saw coldplay on Saturday in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. They are great live. It was an outdoor standing gig and the atmosphere was great!

went watching them last night....it rained all the way through Elbow....not nice.

Coldplay were great as you'd expect...and they filmed footage for the video for Fix You so they played it twice at the end....which was nice.

Well there will be more people there so I presume it will be worse. I might be wrong.

I'm going Sunday, if my mates car makes it down there (which knowing his driving, it probably won't). Think The Coral are supporting again, they were good on Saturday.

It was OK actually, although the view was poor. The City of Manchester Stadium is HUGE.

which is why stadium shows suck.

i'm spoilt from too many shows where i'm 3ft from the band. they're so much cheaper.
