basically in my opinion; if you don't lsiten to the show then you can't be that much of a fan since you won't be appreciating Moyles himself.
If something is wrong with you, which prevents you from listening, it is fine if you don't.
To be a fan you have to have some idea of what you are a fan of. In the case of Chris Moyles you have to listen to his show.

The media is SO influential in determining the general public's actions and beliefs, that articles like that DO make a difference. Racial hatred IS something that we should be concerned about.
