But Everlast, I'm going on the merits of The Doves and not what they did prior. If Norman Cook was up for this award under the name of Fatboy Slim he wouldn't be judged by his time in the Housemartins. Personally I think 'Pounding' is one of the best rock tracks in recent times and The Doves deserve the award.
The Streets however certainly doesn't because theres of the lack in talent, all he does is take a sample or basic riff and talk over it.
