here's the deal,
if i visit a page (i.e. radio1 online) at say, 2pm one day, what come up is the stuff sating ' m+l are on air' e.t.c., now, when i go on the same site later in the day at about 4 ish, the same stuff comes up even though i know m+l aren't on air, chris moyles is.
To display the correct page i need to refresh each time i go on. This is very annoying also when it comes to this message board. for instance, when i go on the general forum, my computer opens the page as it remembers it, not how it should be. this means that i have to keep refreshing to see any new messages. can anyone help me?
i have ie 6 and aol 7.0.

Ok TJD your soloution is as easy as pie, I have IE6 and AO7 also so have experianced this problem. Your pages are getting chached to increase internet spead, but this has the down side of not updating the pages frequently enough.

Simply goto Control Pannel, then (if in classic mode for XP) goto Internet Settings. From here in the General Tab, look at Tempory Internet files, then click on settings. Change "check for newer versions of stored pages:" to automaticaly. I presume you have to restart AOL and reconect or even reboot before these settings take affect.

Anyway, hope this helps. If not get used to pressing F5, its quicker than clicking on refresh 8)

only time that ever happened was when i had Netsonic (like a save the last time you went on thingy) on and it always went back to the old page and it pissed me off.
