Sara Cox sadly doesn't return from her hols and gets sacked. Do you give the Breakfast Show to Scott Mills or put a advert in the internal BBC paper, Ariel to find a new presenter.

I actually find SM, pretty funny and the fact that he's trying to ban BB people from the world of the rich and famous... (see his mini-site) i laughed my breasts of the other morning (monday) when he started getting text messages from various people saying that his neck would be broken.

Question:Why doesn't Radio 1 just get rid of Mark and Lard...?And replace them with Mr Scott Mills. He should be put on at a different time of the day

because mark an lard is the most consistantly funny show on radio 1. its in a good time spot for them an mills wouldnt get better ratings. silence would be better than sara cox though....

Okay- i change my mind... but i think its time they changed some of their links... aimmed at students (i'm on)- i just don't get them.... then chris moyles comes on (a gem of a radio dj) and then an anti-climax- tubby dave pearce... then even more anti-climax (the evening session- his name escapes me.

M+L are really funny!!! Scott mills is good and truely underated, Sara Cox seems to have a bit of a graty voice which is not good first thing in the morning, Perhaps Andy Parfiott shoud give the job to scott mills he really couldn't do any worse than coxy!!!!!!

vicky marsden has a sexy voice. emma b is good. kc is alright. jo whiley does a famous advert (shampoo) she's a little husky, but don't have a problem with her.

like i would be the first to say that Scott Mills was promoted to the breakfast show. and as if it would be said at this time.

I hardly ever listen to Coxy, but when I have its been pretty dull - I think Mills should replace her full time, shes hardly ever on anyway, so it's not a huge loss. Scott can be funny at times and generally has better features on the show.

I think Mark and Lard are great, the second best DJs on Radio 1, they deserve the time slot they have. Most of the female DJs on Radio 1 are pants. Emma B is a dull replacement for Moyles when he's on holiday and I think even Theakston could do a better job.

I like Coxy but she annoys me cos she's a lazy git and never turns up. I think Chappers, Fletch and Neil are the true stars of the show.

So he may appear like a radio legend compared to the likes of emma b for bordom, vicky marsbar and jabrone but let me assure you that his act reeks of local radio and thats where it should have remained. Theres plenty of young talented people doing the rounds on commercial radio who'd be inffluential in issuing such P 45's to these lackeys if given half the chance by the Radio 1 bosses.

Scott Mills deserves far more credit for the job he does. Him and Chris Moyles are the the only truly funny DJ's on radio1. Sara Cox has a speech impediment, and i find the only reason i get out of bed in the morning is to turn her off. Keep Mills on!
