Apparently there will be two entries for Kaisers this week, as the version that is being downloaded is the old one, and the new single is completely new - hence two, combined they would probably reach #1, but because they're classed as seperate releases, it wont.

but it was released ages ago, hence downloads do count - there's physical copies out there so they include them in the chart

if you want to go all geeky, it's to do with the catalogue number. The original has a different number to the re-release so they can both enter the chart at the same time.

yes & no. The single released in November 2004 is available for download, hence it uses the catalogue number from then. The single released on the 22nd August 2005 has a different catalogue number and will chart based on that.
