Im a big fan of Moyles, starting helping producing on a Hospital Radio show, but run on Apple Macintosh computers. It would be brilliant to have the Soundpack features eg beds, and effects in mp3 format rather than exe - is this possible ?

open the .pak file in a zip utility, and the sounds should exsist as .wav files...

But doesnt the individual Soundpak files download as exe files? A Macintosh cannot open exe files at all....

The exe files can be extracted with any zip program. From there you will get a pak file, which again can be extracted with any zip program, after that you have your mp3's.
