The only down-side of this "members only posting" is that if people want to post, even just once, then they have to register, making the "members only" section not quite so private. Ah well, it's definatly worth a trial methinks.

How about making the "Members only" section a "Regulars only".

Chris could setup a usergroup for everyone who is a regular, or who has been on the board for x many months/years.

Well I think that idea or something similar would be good. It was always nice to have e memers only section before, as you could discuss things (e.g. the cd distribtion system) without it being public knowledge, and it could also be used for discussions that were member-based or for those where the interference of guests wasnt appreciated.

Firstly, I am more of a regulare on here than most people. Do I get the same recognition, what is the members section and what is going on today in my life.
