My sister listens to the show and I asked her if she listened and she said "oh yeah someone saying Rachel's boyfriend looked like Colin Murray".

Ahem. I smirked.

Generally one represents bandwidth, one is individual hits and one is pages downloaded or something similar.

I take it she doesn't know about your alter-ego then? It's quite impressive that a post from you generated a lively discussion on national radio.

What pees me off a bit is that if Rachel didn't want her boyfriend put into the media spotlight then she should never have mentioned him on the show or invited him along to the show nights out and let him pose for photos with the team which she then let the BBC put on the website.

I believe both Dom and Aled have partners and not one of us makes a comment about them cause neither Dom and Aled really speak about them much on the show. Its v simple for Rachel if she doesn't want any public feedback on her boyfriend ..... don't mention him again on the show.

Oh don't be silly, Rachel was only objecting during that link for comic effect. Similarly, refering to message board users as geeks is probably to help them get away with talking about it on air.

"Yeah we're talking about Internet Message Boards, but don't worry we're still cool kids!"

Hell no. It was very funny radio, and any blips in the history of this place will be short lived, and almost certainly a good thing in the long run.

I don't actually think she was objecting to sound funny to the listeners. I think Chris sounded a bit of a huff puff about it.

Never mind its all over now... at least after we get rid of lurkers and randoms its left us with.
