I used to think CD was funny - but over the last 6 months I think he has become REALLY boring???? Maybe he is suffering from depression?? But does that mean that we should suffer too!!

Look buddy, this site is for fans. We've already got one tw*t who berates the team enough we don't need another. I'm guessing you've registered after hearing about flame on radio 1 and you've thought it would be a great idea to come on here and slag off a team member in the hope of getting on air.

Grow up, get a life. If your sole ambition by coming on here is to get on the radio then quite frankly you ain't welcome. If however you've come to talk about the show without the aim of getting on the show then fine, consider yourself welcomed with open arms. If not i'd leave now COS IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.

So you dont think CD has gone off the boil lately?
I listen to the show every day for 1.5 hours for the last 20 months - so I think I could be classed as a fan - but recently I think CD has delivered very little - and seems disinterested??? Am I right or do you have another opinion - I would be interested to hear other peoples views on this.

Slating the team members is definatly not my thing but Dave has slightly become less comical lately and I have noticed that Chris has made "Aled style" jokes out of him.

my opinion, which i think i've made clear, is that you've come on here with the sole hope of getting your name on the radio by slagging dave off. That won't happen.

As for Dave's performance, I personnally have noticed no difference in the FIVE YEARS I have been listening. I will concede he doesn't get his giggle fits so much any more, but he's still doing a great job.

And as for your suggestion that he might be depressed, what makes you think that by inciting that he's "got crap" will help?

I think Comedy Dave (CD to you) is as funny as ever. He makes me laugh more than Chris does most days. I don't think he's lost anything and I seriously doubt he's depressed.

I ve listened to the breakfast show for 20 months - and the drive time show for a further 18 months - I think that allows me to have an opinion!! And as for getting on the radio!! ha ha - this site has only been mentioned a handful of times - do you really think that is my motive??

My motive is that I listen every day for 1.5 hours - and lately I have been switching around other stations - I think this forum is a great place to gauge the general feeling of various issues - am I wrong?? And I am certain the producers of he show use this site for exactly that reason.

Personally I would love to have Fern Cotton partner Chris.

Tom is right that this site is for fans of the show, but that doesn't mean we have to like every single part of the show.

I think Dave has been a bit quite of late, especially with Dom seemlingly becoming more important to the show

Personally I think Dave provides just as much comedy gold now as he did in the early days... as proved by his hilariously deadpan karaoke interpretation of Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. Doesn't seem as if he's lost anything to me, and I've been listening for a lot longer than chav666. Not that I'm deliberately trying to cause an argument by saying that though... everyone's entitled to their opinion after all.

Some good points there - I hadnt conciously noticed doms raised profile - but now you mention it its obvious. I personally think dom is hilarious!! He has natural timing and a great bumbling style - He is going places I think.
Maybe dave feels pushed out??

Dave still has his moments of comedy genius, but there are so many people on the show now he is a little less involved than he used to be.
