Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have announced they are expecting their first child together, six months after they began dating.
War of the Worlds star Cruise, 43, and Holmes, 27, got engaged in June after a two-month whirlwind romance.
Twice-married Cruise's publicist, his sister Lee Anne DeVette said: "Katie is pregnant. They are expecting a baby."
She declined to give details of the due date but said Batman Begins actress Holmes had "never felt better".
"They are very excited," added Ms DeVette.
The couple have yet to announce their wedding date.

Why is something so stupid like this in the news anyways? When there are pepole dying over all the world and news reporters just care about some stupid couple who are just in it for a publicity stunt to promote their most recent movies and books or something!
