Same here. Shame pubs aren't open until 2am.

Think the reason i like pubs better as well is because everyone usually moves from the pub to the club, so they are going to be more drunk and there is more chance of violence.
But i wonder if it would split if the pubs were open till the same times as the clubs?

i only go to clubs because i can carry on boozing untill 2am, and because of honeys. if pubs staryed open till 2 then there would be no need for me to go to a nightclub.

Pubs are the way forward. OK they've been around for hundreds of years, but they're still a great way to spend your time. Drinking establishments for the dancing-impaired.

My boyfriend's friends say that most discos are rubbish as boys feel like they have to dance for a pull. I suppose they do mostly in a way.

I would really like a drink at the moment. Had a car crash last night (noone hurt apart from my bumper) and am really depressed.

The new licencing laws are rrrrrrrrrrrubbish. Pubs have to kick out at 11 if they don't have a late licence, you don't even get drinking up time. None of our pubs have been granted extended licence even though they all applied.

i never understood the pubs closing at 11 thing. in america, where few places allow public consumption of booze, our bars are open till 2.

Write to your local council and ask why. Usually the Liscence people. I hear they are nice bunch of people round your way ;)

I think they said it was something about the location being rural and there being strong public opposition. In other words, the old biddies on the parish council disagreed.
