lisa shows tend to be the most boring/least funny to me.

Lisa episodes are better than Marge episodes.

As for Spongebob, it's a kids cartoon. The adults who watch it are kidding themselves trying to find some hidden adult content to rationalise their sad habit of watching Nickelodeon all day - and then go on about it to people who don't get it as if it's some kind of elitist social code which is hard to crack without some kind of rosetta stone

At the very most it's a kids cartoon that can be enjoyed by adults rather than an adult cartoon, which makes its inclusion into this list quite laughable

Im not saying it's some kind of code - it's just what ever you find funny.

Also in the movie, spongebob get's smashed on ice cream, Patrick dresses as a prostitute and david hasselhof is in it.....Why include that if it's solely for kids?

And I did say adult cartoons, arguably....so why it's laughable is beyond me.

Finding Nemo and Shark Tale both have references only adults would understand. By the same logic they should also be included here.

Plus i never said it was souly for kids, I said it's not souly for Adults - a kids cartoon adults can enjoy. That's what good kids cartoons and movies do. That doesn't make them adult cartoons.

True, you did say arguably - so therefore you are inviting us to argue against your selections! :)

wow. i always thought i was alone in disliking lisa. for some reason all of the people i know defend her.

marge episodes are also on the boring side, but no where near as annoying.

Mr. Burns episodes are my favourites. Bart episodes aren't that gripping either IMO.

Lisa is ace. Bart is the dullest character on that show.

ive had it on a video for years then i saw it was on there. it has so many classic bits in, its really the height of simpsons hilarity.

the beginning at the candy convention is funny, "see you in hell...... candy boys" and the lips with 1000 uses. "oh im wanted in the basement"

the re-enactment is hilarious. "dramatisation - may not have happened" and you can see the time changing on the clock in the background"

and the titmouse bit.

I also think Monkey Dust should be there, Dark, but funny

Futurama was scrapped because Fox didn't know what to do with it. It was pre-empted in the US so much for sport that people didn't even know if it would be on or not. Thus the ratings started to drop.

Monkey dust was quality. Loved the last series with those al-quida lads from birmingham - although that soon became a bit too close to real life in July...

The Al-Queda lads were very funny, and I agree with you - being too close to reality, also liked the bloke in prison with the bouncer thing.

Also when I worked late, the missus would ask where I've been so I would go into the 'film - plot man' act, sad I know!

The only 1 I found really funny in the new series of South Park, was the one where cartman dressed as a robot to fool Butters...Apart from that I thought the rest were pretty average
