Anyone else think this is a bad idea? This message board was built on the foundations of free speech, back stabbing and pisstaking yet it seems we're going down the 'i don't want to argue with you' route.

Are we going to let Scott Mills garter wearing, limp wristed, pillow biting truckdrivers to bend us over like cheap bitches? Are we going to let the fans of a bloke who sounds like Rodney Trotter and sings about congealed fast food chicken 'diss us big stylee, wanking over kylie'? (note: Lee Brennan was the first UK artist to be inspired by 'meat' based products, as his flatmate vouched for)

In our time we've had such invasions from the intellectual might of the savage garden fan dandy ho brigade to the nonsical adolescense of the clients from the Danny Baker 'Love' Treehouse. They came, handbags clentched only to be thwarted from the board, tails between legs.

Have you all gone soft? If not, ignore the regulars board and post on the general board ready and willing to slag off any other ill informed new people with big opinions and small dicks.

Then what is the point in this one? Wouldnt it be better just to have made this board, members only "registered email addy"? Seems pointless to me, quite frankly the worst thing that could happen in the long run.

Not all of those posts were 'stupid', par example the bloke from the streets board was quite polite and argued his case objectivly.

I thought the idea of a message board was to publicly state your opinions that other people with internet access could view? Having a members board will help to intensify the clique nature of the board at the moment, where the same old regulars slap each others backs, calling each other legends and scaring off any newcomers to the board. Its this cliquey nature which is a significant factor in expaling why this board is staler than the queen mum's sports bra.

I want you all to search through the topic archives and find your very first post. Read it, and see what a lame bastard you were when you first joined. If the regulars back then were talking to you in such a * manner like many of you do know to potenial regulars, you would have never become the bastard you are today.

My first post went something along the line of 'scott mills read out two of my emails today', a topic which would have got me a pasting if i tried nowdays on the message board.
