Kayla ran away from Boyd and left the baby with a note saying she wanted Steph and Max to raise her as their own. They all went looking for Kayla, thinking she might have gone home to her mother. When she wasn't at her mother's it occured to them that she probably went back to her previous boyfriend, Anthony Johnson, the father of the baby because she still loved him. Steph, Max and Boyd rocked up at Anthony's house with the baby (how they knew where he lived is beyond me), and it turned out that Kayla thought that if Anthony knew she had had his baby he wouldn't stick by her. They managed to convince her to tell him, and it turns out a baby is just what he always wanted. So Steph, Max and Boyd left the Ashlee with Kayla and Anthony and went home. And everyone lived happily ever after. Except Max and Steph, who have been struck off the adoption list indefinately, so will never be allowed to adopt.

what a crap ending to that storyline. although i do hate steph and max based storylines.
