As they did on Sept 11th. Funny that it wasn't recorded, if i decided to record Mark & Lard that day i would of left it running into Moyles' show. Just goes to show that Moyles can be serious and down to earth as well as a comedy genius.

Even though I heard it all on the day, theres been a couple of times I have wished that it was on tape somewhere to listen back to.

When i searched through the forum a while back i remember someone saying they recorded him and commenting on how different he sounded. It seems the BBC recorded the whole afternoon from when it happened becuase the part with Moyles talking with the old newsbeat bed in the clip above is not on the newsbeat pages.

Of what the newsflashes on the newsbeat pages? Or Mark & Lard/Moyles from the afternoon (which no-one seems to have got).

the BBC record every programme all the time. I was browsing their intranet one day and it was possible to order any Moyles show since he started in 1997, but I didn't think Radio Shetland could justify a reason to get them in.

I would like to own the Moyles/Mark & Lard shows through that week in September 11th. I didn't tune in much that week. I just remember coming home from school listening to my personal stereo and Mark Radcliffe sounding very serious. Hardly a trace of Lard. And i guess Comedy Dave would of been the same. When i got back i understandingly stopped listening to the radio and looked at the tv.
But now it's all over it would be intersting to hear it all

Cheers for that. I'm being very lazy this week, still only up to Tuesdays show so wouldn't have heard that for quite a while.

Is it possible to make those avaliable again Downcount? They've now removed the audio from the Newsbeat Page for good.
Did anyone listen to Moyles the day after the death of Diana? Must have been a interesting listen considering Moyles isnt the biggest fan of the royal family.
