Well, here's a handy way to find out. Simply dial 2580 (all the middle keys) on your mobile and hold the phone towards the music for 15 seconds.
Within minutes you'll get a text from Shazam with the name of the track and artist. It costs 50p and you don't even have to register. You can view all the tracks you've tagged at http://www.shazam.com and also buy the track/album.
Very clever stuff. The technology behind it is the latest in pattern recognition and is programmed to recognise 1.5 million songs.
It's taken two-and-a half years to get here, and a lot of complex mathematics, so that it can differentiate between cover versions and originals.
