You must have really! Look on Magic (please believe me when I say I do not regularly view that channel. Note for Mr D - All them Celine Dion songs are on there, incase you feel the urge to request them) And they play it.

Walking 'round the room singing
Stormy Weather
at 57 Mt. Pleasant St.
Now it's the same room but everything's different
You can fight the sleep but not the dream
Things ain't cooking in my kitchen
Strange affliction wash over me
Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire
Couldn't conquer the blue sky
There's a small boat made of china
Going nowhere on the mantlepiece
Do I lie like a loungeroom lizard
Or do I sing like a bird released

Come on you must have heard it!

Crowded House were fronted by Neil Finn, who now is an acclaimed solo performer. They came from New Zealand and first set the charts alight with "Dont Dream Its Over" in 1987. Weather With You was their most successful hit in the singles chart peaking at number 8 in 1992. A good cd to check out is Recurring Dream released in 1996 which was the Very Best Of collection. This album showed how good his songwriting was.

Can I ask a question... whats wrong with Magic? There are a lot of good songs on Magic - including crowded house. I watch that along with VH1 and VH1 Classic. I also listen to Radio 2. Am I an odd 15 year old?

Have you heard what Britney Spears has done to Joan Jett and The Black Hearts, I love Rock and Roll. NOOOOOOO She spoilt a great record...

It was wierd cus I was walking along the street singing the original - then my friend tells me of this awful cover by Britney Spears. At which point we walk into the shop and it's on..... argh!!!!!!!!!

Now anytime I sing that song (which I do a lot) I have to say "By The Way, I'm singing the original"

"I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me
"

Till he was with me, yeah me, singin'

we could go on forever (well at least till the end of the song)

My first CD was Mike Koglin - The Silence. Does anyone here know that track? It was a trance/dance version of Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence. Was a top 20 (maybe) hit a few years back.
