Casualties - John Peel (as he joins 6 music to bolster late night schedules, and to do more twee programming)
Sarah HB and KC(to replaced by Joe Mace Saturday and Sunday Breakfast as radio 1 tries to regain weekend listeners)
Colin Murray to get more shifts, Theakpo to get a re branded chart which would compete with Fox's Poopsi Chart

If Moyles moved to 1pm I would not be happy... not happy at all...

Better not! Please no. I will miss the whole entire show everyday, because of school, its not fair. Even now, I only get they last 90 minutes!

Aaaah the benifits for me of just living down the road from the school - I only usually miss about 35 minutes of the show...

If there was to be a reshuffle, the 1pm slot would seem the most likely place to put him because he is still daytime, more time for his tv show but not too early that Moyles wouldn't do it.

If it is, then Emma B won't last in the breakfast slot. I prefer Moyles to Mark 'n' Lard, but I think those two would do better with their regained nighttime slot. Who's Colin Murray, and why the hell does Dave Pearce still have late drive? - jc

I doubt they'll give Moyles a worse time slot. He pulls in to many school kids to put him on early afternoon, he'd lose too many listeners. He'll stay where he is or get breakfast I reckon. And whose to say they're gonna have a re-shuffel anyway? Goodier leaving might not effect the weekday presenters.

I read *somewhere* that they were going to reshuffle the shows, and also make them shorter (ie add more DJS) to allow more variety and so on, which in theory sounds like a pretty good idea, perhaps 2 hour shows for them all or less.

Well when Moyles went for on for extra - his show went down hill so lets hope if they say for example put his show from 3 till 5 it may improve it. That would be good if they cut down all the DJ's - 5 minutes of Sara Cox should do...

i read in music industry mag music week that zane lowe (xfm/mtv) has been spotted around the radio 1 building recently. they hinted that he will be the new presenter of the top40. he presents the music:response on xfm and his style couldn't be further from goodbags if he tried. would fit in with the new 'younger' image the bosses want for the top40.
