I'm the Day Producer. Too much for me to go into (not meaning to sound arsey). But every Outside Broadcast (bar Germany) I sort out logistics, make audio packages, help set up guests. Basically I work on any show that's not today (all future ones).

Currently working on an OB for the first weekend in August, and an event that will be running on the show for 6 weeks from when we come back from our holidays on Monday the 24th of July.

I've been a Civilisation fan since the first one. I was on the tube platform when I saw a poster for this one a few months ago and I got very excited and ran to the shops at home. Brilliant!

Aled - why don't you and the team cash in on Youtube and make short videos as a video blog type thing. Like what you do in the office, special days, etc - keeping listeners interested throughtout the day.

I've just read your latest blog, (having said that, my computer read it for me - haha) Anyway - just thought id say that its nice you're so open to everyone whilst you're in germany - it must be really hard not being in your own space, with your mates and doing your things, but i'm sure you'll be better off as a team and become closer. It's a shame you're friends aren't able to come over and visit you.

The show is sounding really good and i'm sure we'll be taking about it for a while to come. It looks like you guys are out there for a bit longer. I'm not the biggest footy fan either, but i'm sure there's plenty to do other than watch the footy!

Captain - check you own IQ mate.....who is Alan? and I think you might find Big Brother is mentioned a lot on the youth orientated Radio 1 as its topical and fits the target audience. Who cares if its on another channel? thats the joy of the BBC, no advertisers who will get pissed off at them mentioning a rival station.

Are you actually trying to pick a fight, or you just too young to be able to ask questions in a non-inflammatory fashion?

Channel 4 don't pay Radio 1, no. We talk about Big Brother because it's something our audience on the whole are interested in and are talking about it. Just like, 24, or Love Island or Lost, or football.
