Agree, with both of those, but it's so much fun to read.

It takes me back to my school days, standing in a big circle and shouting "Scrap! Scrap! Scrap!" while just watching two people rip hell out of each other and doing nothing about it.

True
I didn't read all the thread but I could tell that after I'd made that post.

Not entirely true old chap. We do indeed have our own powerstations down this way. Not all gas comes from the North Sea, and how many coal mines do you have up your way?

We will do just fine, we have the good old USofA to bail us out like they always do. I think England should be the next US state. Bush for world leader I say.

Yeah as far as I was aware the benefits system in the US isnt as easily forthcoming as the UKs? Please correct me if I'm wrong Kendra

it's nowhere near as forthcoming as the UK's. for one- government healthcare is hard to come by, which is why so many people are uninsured. (i was for half of last year.) we also have to personally pay more for university education, and it's harder to collect unemployment and disability benefits. it's more of a survival of the wealthiest/fittest deal.

Capitalism works for a few hundred yesrs until the clever people end up having 90% of the money, then it falls apart.

Biological warfare here we come.

I think the world would benefit from a biological war because it would eliminate some of the weaker people who hold our society back, such as jonathan ross and giraffes

The thing is Munroe, people are afriad of death and are conditioned to think that everyone deserves to live then die of old age. Look at a herd of zebra, the weakest ones are taken by the lion's, meaning the fittest survive passing on the strongest genes. This used to be the same with humans. Something like what you've said will be the modern day equivelent of resolving our current problems. It may not be politically correct but with the human race constantly flourishing the downturn is sure to come soon.

Actually Karl Marx said something similar in "the German Ideology" in that he believed in a few decades society would consist of a few at the top with lots of money and many at the botom with no money thus leading to revolution. Unfortunately he didn't take into account the increasing middle classes who balanced the whole thing out and as far as I know has resulted in us not having a communist revolution in the west because too many people now have to much to lose.

P.s. Friedrich Engels must be kicking hmself

P.p.s. why do I keep bringing up communism in my posts
