We have been noticing a lot of returned email that appears to have come from @chrismoyles.net addresses. These messages usually contain a virus. Needless to say, these messages do not originate from us.

The virus in question (and others like it) scan your PC for any e-mail addresses they can find, and if you've visited this site then our address will almost certainly be stored in your internet cache. Get the virus, it picks up my (and many other) addresses, and bombards them with junk - as well as sending out new copies of itself that 'appear' to be from someone @chrismoyles.net. Virus checkers are very cheap, very easy to set up, and can be set to update themselves automatically. If nothing else, remember NEVER to click an attachment in an e-mail unless you know exactly what it is and who it's from.

If you are ever unsure of the validity of a mail from anyone @chrismoyles.net, please check the messages headers. If you see a line similar to the one shown below, you can be confident the message is real:
