Following Chris's recent attack on his old employer, local station 'The Pulse', who claim he stole the new breakfast show feature 'Whattity What' from them, they have decided to fight back – literally.

The commercial radio station which serves Bradford, Calderdale & Kirklees – has challenged Chris to a celebrity boxing match with its breakfast DJs Steve Bailey & Jacqui Blay.

<table><tr><td>The Pulse's programme controller Mark Brow said, "we were furious that Moyles decided to rip into us on the air, it was so unprofessional. He'd had a call from someone saying we were running an item on our new show Steve & Jacqui at Breakfast that is similar to something he does – and basically went on the air and told everyone we’d stolen it.

"We Emailed him to point out this was NOT the case and that's when he branded The Pulse a 'tin-pot local station' (where incidentally he used to work, until he was fired!)

"He also reckoned we don’t have 'the girth' to take him on – but quite frankly though, we DO, hence why The Pulse is throwing down the gauntlet to him. We want him in a boxing ring for a celebrity bout with Steve Bailey & Jacqui Blay, the new breakfast presenters on The Pulse.</td><td></td></tr></table>

"We’ve even taken the liberty of sorting out the boxing gloves for him and have sent them to Radio One, along with some specially created boxing shorts – that are Moyles sized.

"Let's see if he really has the courage of his convictions, or if he’s just all loud-mouth and no trousers"

The station mention that any money raised from the fight would go to Comic Relief.
