Hello....
It's kind of a short review today. Although I listend to the whole show... I was trying to do other things at the same time (such as install my IRC server).
It was one of the best shows I have heard in a while.
One of the funniest bits was when they were speaking about how Dave got banned from his local video rental shop. He had returned the video 30 minutes before the shop opened. They didn't have a collection point so Dave just put the video along with the newspapers which was stuffed in the door handel. The manager wasn't pleased and banned Dave. Why? The video (it was actually a DVD (Chris points out that Dave is one of the 1st class customers then)) wasn't even damaged. Chris and Will wanted to call the manager up live on air but Dave thought it would make matters worse. They never got round to calling him.
Another funny bit was when they we going through the Entertainment section on the Radio One (throw a six to start) phone line. Chris pointed out that if you press a wrong button you get played a jingle (which is a bit stupid) and that all anoraks out there will be getting their tape players ready and recording it!
In Caraoke one of the callers got a ticket from the police officer live on air and was about to be arrested. She hung up before we knew what the final outcome was. Chris wanted her to stay on for the raitings and said he would pay the fine.
We had a Secret Squirrel back aswell.......
No Monday chart quiz - what has happend to that? Last week it was on Tuesday!
