Hello... *4 weeks later they all say* yes yes yes, I’m sorry! I’ve been very busy lately, and at the time of writing, I’ve been very lucky and given the afternoon off in order for school to prepare for open evening. So I was home at 2pm and it felt very weird! But anyway, few additions with ma third review, it’s going to be much briefer, with just, as it were, notes. I do this because I know how much I hate reading, so I thought it was easier to just do short things about the links, so no what songs played where, just the links in like little notes! So sit back and fall asleep... behold Martin’s MoylesWorld Reviews v1.5!
- Before the show Comedy Dave wants to sing a song, but Chris stops him half way through and says that they haven’t got time... and so, the show commences.
- I’d like to tell you all, that while I was trying to listen to that I actually was holding a very flimsy Arial upwards trying to remember what was happening as I couldn’t get a decent reception!
- Will attempts to do a song whilst Chris in the kitchen having a fag. As it starts, he comes back and interupts.
- Chris talks about going round to his Girlfriend's for dinner (whilst digressing onto his 7 bedroom mansion). He talks about the food (which he particulary compliments) and this goes on until at the end he mentions a take away again and she confesses that she did buy it all!
- Chris moves onto Dave's night. Dave stumbles into what he believes is a gay pub. He then goes into a Charleten's Gig that was also in a gay pub.
- Chris then talks about going into a pub in Camden Market (can I just say, I HATE that place :)) which was also what he believe a gay pub.
- Lizzie now attempts to do a song whilst Chris has popped out. Dave sings in with the want u back 4 good chorus. Chris does actually let Lizzie finish but comments on how crap it was!
- Aunt Fannies Fish Shop Ad. (it's been played before hasn't it?)
- Mentions about registering for Pap Idol.
- Mentions about Top of the Pops relaunch - they're in a new studio.
- Zoe Ball is on the phone to Chris. Just general chatter with her.
- Brief link mentioning ex agent Bruno Brooks.
- Chris teases with Will because he has to get through 3 songs in a couple of minutes, so unless Chris gets cake he stops the record and wastes time!
- Chris needs to find some backing music for the next link - it's about The Dreem Team with their Go Karting thing... introducing their 5th player - Mark Fell. Sorry, I'm corrected, it's Karting :)
- Chris generally chats about what to do etc etc.
- Chris picks on Dave about where he went, and what he watches. Bally-k in particular ;) and sings over Village People records!
*At this point my house blew up, so I missed about 15 minutes*
- I join back as Chris takes the mick out of Dave about being a gay icon.
- Pap Idol - A mildly amusing feature, with the general banter about how bad they are, and bad singing. The first contestant saying Shut up Will. The second feature had mixed opinions. Two thought it was brilliant, two thought it was actually good (with me?).
At this point I would just like to say.. WHAT THE HELL??? Chris now plays Slipknot... *Martin looks in disgust*
- Pap Idol Part 2 - Dave chooses Contestant 1, so does Will and Lizzie.
- The gay icon thing runs and runs with Chris wanting Dave to sing to a Village People song. Chris then plays a Japenese version of it, which I personally think is funny!
- Starts to talk about Dave AGAIN but stops and goes onto Spoony. General ranting about him and taking the mic, and then they play the little game of trying to find his handbags!
- Starts to play Big Blubber, but then decides against it and PLAY FAITHHHH!!!!!!!!!! BY LIMP BIZZZZZKKKITIITTTTT!!! AHHH!!!
- Talks about Will's vast musical knowledge before going on about Radio 1 ONLINE where Chris wants Dave to go into the chat room to talk to people. Will goes into the chatroom and several people say cooey lol
- Big Blubber -
Lizzie - Talks about her drinking habbits.
Will - Gets this weeks Licky licky brown nose much to Moyles' dismay.
Dave - Gym Lady Jane talks about how she missed him - Moyles gets ideas.
Chris - Managed to run for 1 hour and 21 minute s- very impressive!
- A Book At Teatime - Erm, well I was writing the above cos I was busy eating Fish and Chips (aka Scampi and Chips) From what I was half listening though, again, it was very funny and mirrored Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Okay, well at this point I need to get in the shower to get ready for my school's open evening, but I'll turn the radio up and try and remember what happened!!
*15 minutes later* No sorry, I was too busy in the shower ;)
