Dave is away on his birthday treat courtesy of his girlfriend so Will is promoted for one day only to sidekick. Dave is away and wont get to hear the radio. Chris and the team cant think of what to get him for his birthday. Chris thinks of a signed Everton football and tells Lizzie to phone Everton up. Everton refused to give out any freebies and didnt know who he was. Chris badmouths Everton and says they should ring up other teams to see if they can get any shirts. Chris gets told that he can be heard on the speakers at Belfast International Airport. This prompts shouts of Power Shower, Cold Feet and the like by the team.
Evident today was that Chris was quite droll and was feeling the after effects of his drinking with his boss, Parf Daddy. Tonight he and the team will meet and have a drink with Holly Valance. Chris mentions she doesnt drink. Chris has been sent Star Wars light sabres that look strangely phallic in their appearance.
Will is not going to drink either tonight because he has to see his girlfriend afterwards. Chris has to go to a wedding tommorrow. Chris finds the trail for the rap show highly amusing. He plays the line of Westwood proclaiming Go Hard Or Go Home. Chris gets onto the subject of Blind Date and says that its the worst show on the TV. Will and Chris go through all the usual things that happen on the show. Funnily enough its possibly the only thing that him and Gary Bushell agree about. Chris says he would like to present a late night version of Blind Date and get the stupid questions and get down to the questions that people really want answered like How far do you go on the first date.
Chris lets the cat out of the bag as to where the cool place they are going to in America is. They are going to the Playboy Mansion to a party on invitation by Mr Heffner. He says that there are bound to be an abundance of famous celebs. Chris cant believe the stories in the paper today about Sven Goran Erikkson and his supposed affair with Ulrika Jonsson and that Ally McBeal superwaif Calista Flockhart is pondering whether to marry Harrison Ford.
They have been sent more jingles by those 2 mad eejits with a Roadtrip theme.
Chris reviews tonights tv of Alistair McGowans Big Impression where he says Culshaw will be throwing darts at the televison. Remember the new radio series of Dead Ringers starts tonight at 6:30pm on BBC Radio 4. Some of the jokes are a bit flat and they spoof a lot of Radio 4 programmes but on the whole is quite funny and has Jons customary Prank phone calls feature prominently. He reviews Eastenders and says that a lot of tv doesnt exist in the soap like Grange Hill and Carry On films. He sees the Judge limbering up on the decks and starts to say that he is fat to put him off through the window.
