The hotel is very arty looking and theres no carpet but they leave the doors lying open. Chris says he is all for friendliness but not if people are going to run in and nick his stuff while he is out.
Chris and the team went to the middle of the desert yesterday to the Coacello Festival. Chris describes Wills driving at best to Driving Miss Daisy standard. He calls him too careful and he took 3 hours to get to something they were told was only an hours drive away. This meant they missed Elbow and just got there when Foo Fighters were performing Breakout. Quiz Winner Paul Tittley (sniggers) had to do out his first task yesterday which was to be Pete Tongs bitch basically. Some American tried to chat him up saying he had a sexy English accent but the problem was that she was a munter. The team were spotting celebs and saw Robbie Williams, Cameron Diaz, Beck, Tim Burgess from the Charlatans and the Chemical Bros. Jude and Paul however met The Strokes. Lizzie went round and recorded some American people to play back to Chris including American Fred, fred spelt with a ph and a girl called Nicole.
Later on they will be going to the Warner Bros tour where they will sit in a limo/buggy the way round it. Todays Tittley Task was for him to find a famous singer and record an interview with them which will be used in the Newsbeat Entertainment news feature heard on Dave Pearce or Jo Whileys show. Chris hand him a lot of contact addresses to record companies and tells him if he doesnt complete the task, they will strip him naked. Chris had a chat with Noel Gallagher and played his clips of it. Chris also got chatting to what he calls the biggest blaggers hs has found, namely Taffy and Dean from Hull who have managed to get into the playboy mansion party and have landed backstage passes for the music festival. Chris asked them if they have spotted any celebs while they have been here. They say they have seen Tara Reid from American Pie, Rachel Hunter, Rod Stewarts ex-wife and Lady Victoria Hervey but Moyles says she doesnt count. Elbow get in to the studio and have brought in Chris a huge muffin and a stinking breakfast with a sausage that looks like it came from John Wayne Bobbit. Elbow are leaving today to return to the UK. Before their live track they say hello to their drummer who isnt out with them as his wife is having a baby any minute now. They have drafted in a replacement drummer from the Stereo Mc's.
