The first 10 minutes are a shambles as the mic levels are wrong and the minidiscs had the wrong songs. Chris got emails telling him that Kate Lawler mentioned him on SM:tv live and he was watching it. She wasnt wearing Moyles ring. On Saturday night he watched the Kate documentary and it showed the clip with Aled kneeling with the ring. Chris said it was really cringeworthy and thought that Aled must be a divvy to do everything they tell him and have the balls to do it. He is on his eighth day off the booze but it might be curtains tonight as the team are brainstorming new ideas tonight at Chris flat. Chris said he was pissed off that he has only lost 1 pound in a week.
Chris critiques on the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony and in particular the cheesy announcer which was called Anthony Davis who was an actor in Grange Hill. Chris said he reminded him of Steve Priestley, the guy who did the voiceovers on Movies Games and Videos. Chris played sound clips from the show including Grandmaster Flash? trying to get the crowd going, Former M People singer Heather Small who couldnt hear the backing track and was out of sync with the music. Toploader were on it and Chris pointed out that they still managed to plug themselves at the start of the song.
Chris manages to fit MC Hammer into Xpress 2 song Lazy. He then tries to put it in other songs. Chris talked about his other show and he has an office but there is no chair or table so he appeals for freebies like the lazy boy chair that Chandler and Joey have in Friends. Will says that he is hardly going to be there for long but Chris thinks he could stay in it at weekends if he can get Sky in and free Playboy for 24 hours a day.
Grecowatch - Graham on email says that Michael Greco has a new job and that was in Chicago Rock Cafe as a Star Behind The Bar night. Michael is the star on the 11th August. Michael was in the Breeze Bar in Lemington Spa where he was in a small room signing autographs from Kim. Chris Butcher in Redditch said that he spotted him in Berties Nightclub in Newquay when he was on holiday there.
Ben Marriott was bored with an American station he was listening so for a laugh sent them an email to shout the infamous slogan I Dont Drink, Chris Moyles rocks. Chris says the DJs sound like the 2 people they met in USA with the hooptie wagon. Chris finally has his TV fixed by his father. The problem was just a 4p fuse. Brainstorming means asking the listeners for names of features they can turn into a game. Instead of a transcript are the names of the shows they ok'ed that they will talk about tonight.
