Chris finally went training after a fortnight of no exercise and excess booze. Daves fun packed evening last night was the 2nd half of Bolton match followed by CHIPS on Bravo and the Football Years on Sky One. This descended into Will not knowing anything about football again. Chris and Dave had a Guess Who was Helena Bonham Carter. Aled had a Guess Who which was The Queen on the A4.
Possibly the strangest link ever was the Chris Moyles Inflatable Tank Amnesty. The British Air Force has lost 1 inflatable tank that they use for training. It was blown away in the high winds in the Brecon Beacons in Wales on Sunday. This costs £10000 so they urged anyone who knew the whereabouts of it to ring in. The results were rubbish as everyone lied to get on the air. DAVID THE PHOTOGRAPHER RETURNED on the phone working in the leisure centre in Peckham. Chris berated him for ringing up other DJ's.
Richard Park was back in the studio. Chris banged on about Pop Rivals and said it was awful. Park said that Camilla has record companies chasing after her. Chris tried to get Park to say that Pop Rivals was crap but he refused to. If you are not aware, Rivals tried to gain viewers and column inches by the astonishing revelation that one of the contestants was 2 months too old. It is alleged that the show knew all about this as reported in todays papers. The consequences are that people have wasted their money for 2 weeks voting for him when he had no chance of winning.
Chris says that they should go up against Pop Rivals on a Saturday night. Nigel will sing Heaven by Bryan Adams on Friday. Katie will sing Like A Prayer whilst Pippa will sing Anastascia Im Outta Love. That will mean Pippa is out this week as personally I hate that kind of caterwauling.
Chris issued a challenge to 3 of Pop Rivals against 3 of Fame Academy by 5:30pm in a singing competition, which they have to write an original composition and they will film it and allow both programmes to show. Aled and Chris call them chickens and try to rile them to respond. I must point out that Pop Rivals gets 2 million more viewers and get paper coverage unlike Fame Academy who noone really cares about. See im really impartial. There was no reply. Aled called up their press office but they were short with him and put the phone down. It weighed down the whole show as it constituted the worst of Chris. The jokes on him as he spent more than an hour talking about Pop Rivals.
The true extent of to why Dave turned down Chris invitation to join him watching the Leeds Everton game has become apparent. Dave is going to dinner with friends on Sunday with his girlfriend. The friends are Chris' Ex Ana Boulter and her new Boyfriend.
