Chris spent the whole afternoon at home yesterday apparently
waiting for the phone to ring for him to perform in Band Aid. This followed by Chris and Dave discussing possible lines that they could do. Rachel says that she can start the song off very well indeed. Dave also had a few lyric mistakes and got the lines wrong. Chris said he would get the lyrics for him sometime during the show. After the news Chris and Dave continued their discussion of who should do which lines which included an insight to their music popularity of the download chart and their appearance in TOTP Magazine. Also how Paul McCartney never got in the download chart and Dave's singing talents: Dave: Yowwwnly Flllowinnn' The phone will definitely start ringing any second now thanks to Dave's singing.
Politics up next on the agenda about Bush, Kerry and President Bartlett all battling it out. Chris was shocked how the news coverage left out Bartlett. This of course was a joke from the West Wing which went straight over Dave's head.

Buzz Off

Today Chris decided to treat us all to Calling All The Heroes by It Bites ImageDave buzzed on 3:48, ImageRachel buzzed on 1:03, ImageAled buzzed on 2:42 andImagelisteners were 58% Buzz Off however Chris desperately didn't want to take it off yet so pleaded with the listeners to text Buzz On. Dave described it as a different choice for Buzz Off but he enjoyed it.

American History 101

After One Road Travel Chris gave us all a lesson in American History and his views on the election. Chris pointed out that it wasn't really important to us
and that's why he isn't too bothered about it. The lesson was based on what's happened in western films and how we invented the Americans. This involved land which wan't wanted such as the part of land in the middle of Regents Park and how there was an Irish channel tunnel. After Daniel Beddingfield's the texts started coming on in about how they have learnt so much from Dave's and Chris' wisdom and teachings.

Next up was information about Chris turning on the Christmas lights in Leeds which was reported on by

chrismoyles.net earlier this month. Unfortunately MLS won't be performing this time. They were going to do your Daddy has a Volvo but it was rejected. Chris tried to entrance people into coming to watch the lights being switched on with Girls Aloud as well. Next they started talking about Chris' early presenting career at Radio TopShop and how things have changed since Chris was
scratching Paul McCartney. Chris was also saying that Scott used to do Radio Homebase but Chris said TopShop was far more important. Rachel was trying to push it on as they were rambling so they waited until they thought it was time
to play a trail. After Razorlight the team had a small sweepstake on when Destiny's Child will actually arrive in the studio.

Politics again after the news which quite quickly moved into discussions about how apparently Clint Eastwood was the mayor of Carmel and Chris has visited his pub which Rachel just had to check over on the internet. Aled also purchases the economist as well we discover (because he's a bit geeky or so I'm told ;-)

A Little Bit of Kidderminster in Every Carpet Career

Before Rachel interviewed him she went to see the movie while Grey Head did the producing for yesterdays show. Rachel seemed to really enjoy and described it as a real chick flick the pre-interview conversation involved how Rachel's mike kept falling into a cleavage and how Will had to dig in there and get it out. Rachel started out the interview very simply by just saying Hello. Her first question was all about Kidderminster and if he had been there. Apparently due to Rachel's great delight his father used to work in Kidderminster and his father used to be a Manager of a carpet company once again delighted Rachel. She also asked the typical question who is given to all interviewees on the Chris Moyles Show which was what's your favourite cheese. His favourite actually being Dairylea. Before the four minutes that Rachel had been allotted of interview time ran out she decided to ask a question that Chris wanted her to ask. Have you got a date for the premiere? Hugh accepted and offered to buy her a dress (Will laughing in the background). The team thought that Rachel will
actually try and find Hugh and hold him to that.

Image

After Jamelia texts had come in accusing Chris of being mean to Rachel. I mean as Chris said Hugh wouldn't have been asked that question before and how Rachel can sell he story to the Midlands papers. Rachel thought that Destiny's Child
could develop Chris' teaching knowledge for American History. Chris also bumped into Destiny's Child bodyguard who is called Shorty apparently. Chris described him as being a version of himself but Black American.

Tedious Link
Today Dave had to get from Massive Attack – Unfinished Sympathy to Foo Fighters – Monkey Wrench You can view the Tedious Link in full overhere
Seamless? - Not quite some problems involving Only Fools and Horses and that was about it

Half Time

A twist on ramble today to accommodate Destiny's Childs appearance
Dave: Let's get ready for Destiny's Chiiiiiiiiiiillllllllld.
Chris started off asking some general questions all about them and then slowly got into more Moyles type questions. One of the questions he moved onto was Chris' dance moves. We also had a conversation about Accents. Chris was first to be tested about his American Accents and he had to explain what taking the mick meant. They also discussed what they could do after the show, Destiny's Child said that
they wanted to do something British such as having a brew or going down to the chipper. As Chris was tying it all up just before the vocals of The Weekend he timed it beautifully while one of the girls ruined it and talked into it, Chris
easily recovered.

Our Contestants today staring with Mr Fish were Cassandra and Howell. Half way through Cassandra had an argument with Chris about how she didn't buzz in cause she thought it was to obvious and she simply continued to carry on rambling so Chris simply cut her off and of course cut Howell off when he went to say hello to someone. Chris: There's only one
person on this show who likes his own voice and that's me, there's not two of us otherwise it would have been like JK & Joel
