Not a request as such, but this place seemed the most appropriate place to post it.

I've had an idea, completely nicked from the wonderful Hawksbee and Jacobs on Talksport. At the end of each week (and then month) they play out a series of about five or six clips from the station - usually involving * ups or funny moments. They then get listeners to visit the website and vote for the winner..

How about we do something smiliar?

Not on a weekly basis, because that will be too often - but on a monthly basis. Of all the sound clips Console posts, how about we run a poll (perhaps as a sticky in General) at the end of each month, where people vote for their favourite Moyles moment of the month.

The winner could then be posted separately on the homepage, or tagged in the Sound Vault to show it as "September 2006 clip of the month" or whatever. We could then have a vote at the end of the year for a "clip of the year"..

Just a bit of fun really. Anyone think its a good idea?

Yeah i like the idea... Console's bound to have a list of stuff that he uploads, he could shortlist it to about 10 or so (if he doesn't mind even more work!), then we could have a vote.

Yeah, I agree. There's nothing to lose by trying it. I don't have a nice list of all the clips that have been done, but I can easily make one. Would you want to start it at the end of this month, or start now with last months clips?

Like I say, it's only a bit of fun - just trying to make the place a bit busier, throw a few more ideas around to make it somewhere people will want to visit and visit again.
