It hasn't been announced yet - but chrismoyles.net can reveal that this Friday's show (22nd September) is to come live from Bristol!

The team will mark their arrival in the city with a karaoke night on Thursday. For a chance to be there and for more details about the trip, tune in this week from 7am.

Guests coming up include ex England captain David Beckham on Monday, and the newly reformed All Saints on Thursday. Chris will have the exclusive first play of their comeback single.

Why have you got a picture of the Severn Bridge in story about Bristol ?
The Severn Bridge leads to Wales and is 15 miles from Bristol.
Surely if you want a picture of bridge relating to bristol it should be the Clifton Suspension bridge.

And I agree with Gashead - it is the best City in the world, and Im sure he agrees with me that we also have the best Football team

Does 'for a chance to be there' mean you have to win something to get in the Karaoke thing?

What a life long ambition to have... and to think I've wasted all my life so far in the quest for my life long ambition of happiness and good fortune.

I need to get my head read and sort my priorities out.

In all honesty and I understand local pride etc etc.... but is Bristol really the best city in the world? I mean have you been to other cities in order to make an informed judgement? Barcelona? Paris? Sydney? Delhi? San Fransisco? Rio?

I recently watched a "best 10 city breaks" program on TV... and they didn't mention Bristol, perhaps they just took it as a given that everyone realised that it is the best city in the world, so didn't feel the need to mention it. Who knows.

of course it's not in those terms! It's the people that make it but i agree - I have visited Toronto & Moscow in the last year. However it does have some very unique spots though

Hi everyone @ Radio 1 hope your all good and enjoying yourselves, I have the BIGGEST problem EVER. My boyfriend drives a van and delivers fruit and veg, the only thing that keeps him going is your show, every morning he will phone me and tell me the funny things his "mate" Chris has said or done. When he found out you were coming to Bristol he almost came in his pants on the phone to me, no lie. This is the problem, the place where you gave the tickets out, by the watershed is right on my way to work, in fact I walk past there every day between 8:15 and 8:45am, the only day I dont is my day off, TUESDAYS!!!! How typical is that I ask you??!! So please Radio 1 I am on my knees begging you guys to pledge a ticket to my long suffering boyfriend and not hate me for changing my day off this week! He doesnt even mind going on his own he just wants to be able to say that he was there.
Thankyou for your help guys
Lots of Love

Is it wise to put your full name and address and phone number on a chat board? You don't know who's reading it.

I personally wouldn't.

Clear a few points:
1) Severn Bridge is not that far away from Bristol - just up from Avonmouth and Bristol is one of the only places in the country to have a county named straight by it - Bristol.
2) It is strange for Moyles and the team to come down this weekend - half marathon was last weekend.
3) Why 'Proper Job', thats Somerset. You want to speak 'pur Brisle an nohin else'.
4) At one point football team Bristol Rovers existed next to a gas plant.
5) At one point Bristol Rovers went to play at Bath and
6) Bristol is so popular the Bath Rugby team now want to play in Bristol.
7) It lost to Liverpool in the Capital of Culture '08.
8) Mary Poppins, the musical premiered in Bristol a couple of years ago.
9) This years panto is Peter Pan with Jo Pasquale.
10) Most of the major M4 roadworks are complete.
11) There is currently no name for the revamped shopping complex - was 'Broadmead', then they wanted to call it 'Merchants Quarter' but its racist, then either 'Great West', 'Cabot' or 'All Saints' (which are on the show this week), but no-one agreed so it seems to be either still 'Broadmead' or fairly popular 'The Shops'.
12) The Bristol Aztecs are in the American Football finals in London.

Six points about a stuck-up Bristol.
Eleven points about Bristol
Twelve points about Bristol

I don't want to ignor you... more just point out your naivety when it comes to hailing what you describe as the "best city". When in fact... it's not.
