crap threads just get little or no resposnse and go down the list quicker anyway; there's not really any need for a filter.

ah...a simple solution I see

The board stores all the posts etc in a database stored on the server. Therefore, all that needs to be written is a simple SQL query that searches for posts made by certain people and removes these entries from the posts table...

DELETE *
FROM tblPosts
WHERE tblPosts.poster LIKE "Mr Dion";

Or something like that anyway...
