The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

HOW?
Just how heaped is it possible to heap a 'Heaped tablespoon'?
Well, whilst messing about in the kitchen today,I conducted a series of experiments with some interesting results:
Bottom of the league is humble table salt, which barely stacked up higher than 'level'.
Sugar was a little more impressive-with a little perseverance,a good one inch stack is possible, albeit with much spillage.
Bisto makes it into the Premier League with a superb two inch stack-good stability, little spillage.
Baking powder(BP)produced a remarkable 3 inch stack, but was made cumbersome by the narrow circumference of the lid.
But the overall winner was good old Plain flour-with careful handling and an absence of incredulous spouse shouting "Just What the Frig are you doing?"-it was possible to deliver a full 5 inch 'Tower Of Pride'-remarkable.
Presumably however the sea breezes are increasing the spillage factor by a degree of plus or minus 18%.I'm confident that a seven inch mound could easliy be attained in say, Bromsgrove, the calmness of the area resulting in far less spillage, lossage, slitherage, runnioffage and crawlage, though possibly an exactly equal amount of aimlesstimewasteage.

That's an extremely interesting scientific report you have there Cornishman. YOu should consider sending it off to the National Institute of Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Home Economics* for publishing.

i once weighed did a highly scientific test involving 2 rubbers, i also did one called 'The Music Audio Fire-hazard Risk Assesment' whereby i saw if a cd was more flamable than a cassete by setting them alight using lots and lots of lighter fuel. ah, those were the days.

another good one is take a plastic lighter and throw it really hard against a wall - it explodes but watch out as I got burnt and had palstic surgery so I now look like Jonny Hoare

We often used to bake cake type things which consisted of mashed up digestive biscuit, rolled into balls using water and then put under the grill to cook slightly.

This may not seem like it has alot to do with the topic, but it was a 'kitchen experiment.'
