Yep, great result. Ipswich lost, Derby drew - good weekend all round. Stupid thing is, at the beginning of the season all I wanted was to stay up, that was the only thing I was hoping for - and I didn't expect it at all. Now, I really really really really want a playoff spot.......not promotion, they wouldn't let us in anyway because we don't have the right facilities yet, but it would be so cool to be in the playoffs...................*sighs*

My little boy went to Old Trafford for the first time today. I wonder if he'll realise that its the same game Colchester play?!

Mr Quincy Fernandes was very impressive in the first half today. Tired a bit but looks promising.

I thought that if you were to get promoted that you would use Portman Road so they would let you in.

I thought Ipswich says no?

Well, its not going to be an issue anyway. Even if by some miracle we ended up in a playoff spot, there's no way we would win. Just the playoff money would be really great, and a final would be brilliant.......I'm dreaming, I know it.

Are the playoffs at Wembley this year? that would be quite cool. I might go to a lower league one anyway...

Oooh, I hadn't thought about that - I guess it would depend on whether they are before or after the FA Cup final, as that is supposed to be the first match isn't it? I never know when all these things are supposed to happen.....

The FA cup is before the play-offs, but that don't necessarily mean the play-offs will also be at wembley, last I heard they were going ahead at the Millenion stadium as there aren't enough assurances about wembley, something to do with a health and safety certificate.

Is it actually certain that the FA Cup final is going to be at Wembley?

Again, I think this is pending the health and safety certificate............ they've got to get thousands of miners in there to stamp their feet, jog on the spot and stand up and sit down simultaneously, like what they did with the old wembley.

Hello Footballing Fans, I rarely enter this hallowed domain, as it's normally Baggie Slagging people who were not born witinin 2 meters of the football ground supporting that club, but I came accross an interesting titbit of fact whislt reading a book the other day, not it might be this is Old Hat so apologies if it is, it's only meant to be a bit of fun.

Now imagine reading the newspaper, and you absent mindedly start colouring in the letters that form little circles in the letters, like the top bits of e's and "o" etc.

Well what is the only team in the 4 English Leagues, that when you take the full name ( include Rovers, City, Argyle, United etc) which does not have any letters you can colour in.

It would work for Scotland as well except I am not sure if Celtic have surname, but if it was say United, then that would work for all leagues in Scotland as well.

Apparently.......

( as an aside also there is only one London Tube Station which does not contain any letters from the word Mackerel )

With all you jolly inteligent soles on this forum I would imagine, you would just ignore this !

But with Capitals was the thrust of the pedant CELTIC, sorry like I said I have no idea on football at all really, and this exception we offered too me and I didn't know that it was a suffix at all, you learnt something new every day, I did know it was Glasgow Rangers, but not Glasgow Celtic !

Baggie
Liverpool

There arn't any others, I can think of
