Was the Everton game that bad? Being at the ground it didn't seem a terrible game. Everton hit the post twice and there was a few typical Lehmann incidents and Arsenal had two or three good chances. Teletext described it as "dour" and I am usually first to admit when it is crap at Goodison (it often is) but I didn't think so yesterday.

Vaughan went in on him initially and it was perhaps a bit rough which got him wound up. Then Anichebe came on and dared to stand in front of Lehmann but Anichebe is huge and Lehmann tried to barge him and basically got pushed back in his own net. The ref walked across and told him to grown up then we scored from the corner straight after.

England are terrible! There are some good players in there, why can't McLaren sort them out? I have never been much interested in international football, and every tournament I feel more and more vindicated....!

i just spent 15 minutes complaining about england on the radio. i also yelled at a caller for mixing up sheffield wednesday and sheffield united. i told them they were making my tumor angry.
