and the fact that this is the place to be!

I was thinking maybe Wednesday night should be Curry night... £4.99 for a Chicken Balti, Poppadum, Naan Bread and a pint, what you reckon?

mmm, Balti...

Can't be arsed to quote but... McCoys are everywhere round here, I never have trouble getting them. Mrs Topher has a slightly worrying addiction to Squares.

I used to like Brannigans but I've not seen them for ages.

I had prawn bhuna on Tuesday. Can I have chicken Madras with pilau rice instead on Wednesday? And you'll sell a shedload at that price.

now is it the salt and vinegar flavour or the cheesy ones she is a fan of?

The salt and vinegar.

I like non-hot curries, I'm a sucker for a korma or buttered chicken - the creamy ones are definitely best.

I like hot curries. Unfortunatly, they dont like me so much - it tends to end up a tad messy.

They have that on the menu at our local Weatherspoons, Curry and a pint for a fiver.

Some of my mates like hot curries - they go for phalls and vindaloos and there's me with my korma and rogan josh at a push.

a Phall made me cry once, no need!

I like a good jalfrazi or a madras, and I have to say you really can't beat a good Asda curry . Cheap too!
I always have a cheese naan too. Anyone a fan of Keema Naan? (sp?)

gaspode, what was that hot currry i had my last night in england? i dream about it.

sadly, the best curry i ever had was curry and chips and nobody will not make fun of me for asking for it. (though maybe this weekend, i'll smuggle chips into my favourite indian place....)

Curry and chips is common over here - I have it fairly regularly. Assuming you don't mean crisps of course.

Yea, I can have chips as an alt to rice no problem

i mean chips, not crisps. they're not common over here at curry places. you can get rice or naan, but never chips.

I had a curry last time I was in the states, I found it very bland. Did you find it different when you had a curry over here Kendra?

yeah, there were more curry options. it also depends on where you go. i live in a pretty good area for curries since there's such a huge asian population here, but it's not the same as england. we also have way more chinese, korean, thai, viatnamese, and japanese food. yum!
