OK,

I don't watch much of Five and i'm not sure what else UMTV produce for any other channels but I do have to side with Chris for the majority of * ups on tonights show.

There was never any doubt Chris would be nervous on his first show and the production team didn't help at all !

I'm really struggling to pick out any good points to be honest, I thought the idea of electricuting the audience was good ! however the concept of chucking pints down the bar was crap !

Can anyone agree with me that the majority of the time Chris looked lost and hadn't got a clue what was going on ? VT failed to play, wrong numbers on Q cards.

Ah teething problems, tomorrow will be ace !

Reassuringly disappointing. Although I do hope it gets better. That "Push the Pint" feature will get old very quickly.

I didn't mind it, it wasn't really spectacular tho, cos the mistakes in it. But by the time I had got into it, it was over cos its a little bit on the short side at 30 minutes. Hopefully it will get better, so I will tune in again!

It would get old quite quickly if it was longer, especially with a near 3 hour radio show just before.

How do u do TV screen shots? Do you have to have TV on the PC?

I agree, Id just got into it, and it finished! I really hope that it gets better, for Chris if nobody else, because I think a lot of bad press could follow it

Some of his R1 material was repeated wasn't it? I guess that's inevitable since the show is kinda about his life. Also, the production crew could have done a better job, his first words were drowned out by audience cheers

The press would always slate it though, they hate anything new and as has been shown are not overly keen on most of R1's DJs

Good

Bad
1) At the top of the show incorrect phone number was read out which didn't tally with the one on the screen
2) Chris had to ask the producer what shall we do now ?
3) Listener says F*CK on air and Chris has to apologise
4) VT Fails to play and Chris looks lost.

Its live mate, and as far as I can tell, mostly unscripted. It all adds to the show, think about it.
