Total madness this year. Chris Evans winning Entertainment award and personality award. Classic FM is UK station of the year. Only award for Radio 1 went to Colin Murray. Scot and Zane got also nada

To give credit where its due - the little I have heard of Chris Evans has been quite good.

Colin Murrays show is pretty class as well - i've never felt like I've wanted to turn it off, which is saying something at that time of night.

Very true, Colin has deserved his award for his show, the times that it's on is well not too good when on an early shift but it has caused some sleepy eyes at work.

Yeah well done Colin, he deserves it... his show is by far the greatest output of Radio 1 at the moment. He genuinely looked quite emotional. Interesting what he said about "this time last year I thought I'd have to leave Radio 1, so thanks to Ben and Andy for accommodating me." Sounds like he didn't really like daytimes with Edith, who can blame him.

And well done to Mark Radcliffe too. Genuinely nice guy who I met last year and interviewed this year for my college course. Out of all the radio-type folks I tried to interview, him and his team not only took the time to reply, but were quite happy for me to interview him. His new show with Stuart Maconie is fantastic. I was a little unsure of the idea at first as I don't really like Maconie that much, but I think until we get him back with Lard, it's the closest we will have to a Mark and Lard sounding show.
