On another thread Topher, you said how proud you were to have never seen Big Brother. That could suggest that you find tv important enough to go to the trouble of missing every one of the damn things.

I don't go to the trouble of missing anything, I don't spend a lot of time at home anyway, so I don't tend to be in - if I'm watching TV it's got to be a documentary, the news or a sitcom that I consider to be good. I do watch films, but not to any major extent - I think I'm a moderate cinema goer, probably once or twice a month - almost but not quite enough for those £10 a month unlimited passes.

I've just recorded Capote off Sky.

Is it worth watching?

The fact that it won about a hundred oscars puts me off.

I agree with you on the most part there. However, substitute, sitcom for sport. Exceptions being Never Mind the Buzzcocks and this bizarre programme called Kombat Opera that i keep stumbling upon on sundays.

Oh, I'll watch the odd sports programme, but not something that's on too regularly, otherwise I get bored - Wimbledon, World Snooker, Olympics, that kind of thing.

I'm not even gonna start on what I imagine you to be. It's not worth the effort, but little if any of it is good.

I like balti's but i've never had one in any other place other than Birmingham. I've been to the second best indian restaurant in England and have to say is was gorgeous best curry i have ever had.

Why go to the second best? Surely if you're gonna brag you should go to the best? Best curry I ever had was cooked for me at uni by a Sri Lankan from scratch and tasted devine!

Yeah hence she wouldn't have to travel - she went to the second best, which is in Birmingham - if she went to the best she would presumably have to travel.
