today i have witnessed the demise of Hoare..from 9.15am to (now) 10.52 post ramblins and being the only one (apart from me!) to post....Hoare......please go watch trisha/this morning

the -ie ending is diminutive and inherently feminine. this isn't overly apparent as english has lost most senses of gender, but still.
