Yawn.... and you'll be getting another award for moaning about others.

Back on topic, and probaby a bit mean of me, but why oh why are people tieing yellow ribbons on everything in the city centre with posters of the little girl. It aint gonna bring her back. This whole situation is in danger of becoming more annoying than the Diana pap. Also, what was with the film shown at half time of the FA cup final..... did they think that someone was going to jump out of their seats and suddenly go "hang on, despite the wall to wall coverage of the story on television 24 hours a day........ I've suddenly realised where she is thanks to this video".

It's doing my head in now.

For people who claim not to care what others think, the two of you sure make a big deal of every post.

Hundred per cent. I think its a combination of sentimentality (which popular culture prioritises) and attention seeking by uninvolved individuals.

A bit grim of me to say also, but it did rather put a downer on the FA cup final anyway. As has already being mentioned, we all know the situation. It probably won't be long before they start calling for that unthought through "Sarah's law" to be brought back/introduced for the whole European Union.

Sarah's Law is a disaster waiting to happen. I agree with what it's trying to achieve, but it just won't do that.

To add (sorry about the double post), the people who demand Sarah's Law seem to be people who have been through some sort of trauma relative to the law (i.e., Sara and Michael Payne) and who believe that this is the best way to avoid this happening again. Unfortunately, listening to people so emotionally-involved in such circumstances and whose decisions are motivated by their personal experiences is not an especially good idea, and in this case is a catastrophic idea, which only serves to drive paedophiles and other like scum underground.

I should think her parents couldn't care less as they just want her to stay in the public eye and not be forgotten.

Just tie a yellow ribbon on all the orphans and parakeets and pandas and susbsistence farmers and it'll all be all right.
