ray davies was the best lyricist of that lot. check out "arthur- the rise and fall of the british empire." or "village green preservation society."

rhcp- the were band for my youth... i've seen them a few times and don't remember much, though i was sober.

Seeing the Foo Fighters in November - saw them at Reading a coupl eof years back and they ruled!

The Chillies make good music, but I think they're a load of tossers. I saw them at V2001 and the lead singer never said anything and the Bass player just kept abusing English people.
